Some suggested reasons for it being faked was that Ownage wanted to return to YouTube with a "bang" and use this video as a means to attract more viewers for the release of the subsequent animated prank calls. Many viewers became skeptical as to whether Ownage actually got arrested or if he simply faked the entire video as a publicity stunt. Ownage also stated that the agent's brother had began ghosting him and did not provide any response. Ownage then explains that the second call was made whilst the agent was on duty, which enraged him more. The agent becomes suspicious when Russell pretends to be an Amazon customer service worker, and Russell hangs up after some silence. Russell then calls the agent a week later (calling himself "Christopher Schwartz"). Rakesh brings up the Stage 2 threat, and mentions the agent's sister by name. Rakesh claims to be "Panjeet Smith", and the agent continues to threaten Rakesh, asking him if he knows what he can do to him. Rakesh complains that his co-workers are being arrested, causing the agent to ask Rakesh if he knows who he is and who Rakesh is. This is because Ownage used the agent's special FBI dispatch cell phone number (which the agent's brother gave to Ownage). The FBI Special Agent was called by Rakesh, and the agent (who hates Indian scammers and wants them to get arrested) immediately becomes suspicious after Rakesh mentions his name and his father's name. He then presents the premise of the prank in front of the J. He states that his lawyer advised him not to post the prank video, though he did so against that advice as he wanted to give closure to his viewers, but censored the victim's names. He states that he had gotten in trouble with the FBI after doing a prank call. as two of his friends (a driver and a cameraman) pick him up. The video begins with Ownage walking out of the Central Detention Facility on 1901 D Street S.E.
